The Blenders bring a two-game winning streak to Pierrefonds Sportplexe Rink 2 on Thursday at 10:00 PM EDT, where the Maddogs are waiting in the first meeting of the season. It is an early look at two teams already sitting near the top of Division 8, with the Blenders on 5 points and the Maddogs on 6.

The Blenders have been the livelier scoring team through three games, with 16 goals and a 2-1 record. Marc Del Corpo leads them with 3 goals, while Eric McDonald has gone 2-0 in goal. The Maddogs have answered with a steadier start at 2-1, and Matt Cockburn leads their scoring with 4 goals and 5 points. Julian Grekin has started all three games for the Maddogs and carries a 2-1 record with a 2.67 goals-against average.

With both teams already settled into the schedule, the matchup asks whether the Blenders can keep their scoring edge going or whether the Maddogs can make the first meeting go their way.
