Charles-Olivier Patenaude scored twice and added an assist as the Wolfpack beat the Ice Cleaners 5-3 at Pierrefonds Sportplexe Rink 4.

Wolfpack grabbed control in the first period and never gave it back. Jean-Michel Langlois opened the scoring, Patenaude and Matthew Lala followed, and Bobby Kornaros answered twice for the Ice Cleaners to keep it close at 3-2 after one.

Patenaude then scored again 17:33 into the second for the game-winner, pushing the lead to 4-2. Spiros Roumeliotis kept the Ice Cleaners within reach with a third-period goal, but Alfie Vacchiano answered with 2:53 left to finish it.

Langlois, Vacchiano and Patenaude each finished with three points, while Steven Safar earned the win for the Wolfpack. Julian Grekin took the loss for the Ice Cleaners.

The Wolfpack improved to 2-0, and the Ice Cleaners fell to 1-2. This was the first meeting of the season between the teams.
