Playoff Format

All 4 team Divisions (Playoff Details)

2 game semi-final series, 1 vs 4, 2 vs 3, followed by a 2 game final.

For 2 game semi finals, 1st game is full length and a tie is good, no shootout. The final and deciding game(s) will be a shortened game, 21, 18 and 18 min periods. If the point totals in the series is tied (i.e. both games ended in a tie or each team had a regulation win), there will be a 3 player shootout, if still tied after 3 players have shot, then the captain may choose any player, as often as he wishes until the tie is broken.

All 5 team Divisions (Playoff Details)

Round robin where each team plays 2 games (1 vs 4, 1 vs 5, 2 vs 5, 2 vs 3, 3 vs 4)

The four (4) teams with the best round robin records will advance to a one-game semi final, where the match ups will be determined by the final regular season standings.
Note: The semi final will be a shortened game, 21, 18 and 18 min periods. If the game is tied after regulation, there will be a 3 player shootout, if still tied after 3 players have shot, then the captain may choose any player, as often as he wishes until the tie is broken.

The final will be a one game final. The game will be (3) three periods, 21 min, 18 min and 18min with the last 30 secs stopped time in the 1st and 2nd period. The 3rd period will be stop time the last 2 minutes. If the game is tied after regulation, there will be a 3 player shootout, if still tied after 3 players have shot, then the captain may choose any player, as often as he wishes until the tie is broken.

All 6 team Divisions (Playoff Details)

Round robin where each team plays 2 games (1vs5, 1vs6, 2vs6, 2vs4, 3vs5, 3v 4).

The four (4) teams with the best RR records will advance to a one-game semi final, where the match ups will be determined by the final regular season standings.

Round robin games will need to be decided and ties must be broken. Periods will be (1st) 21 min, (2nd) 18 min and (3rd) 18 min. If game is tied, there will be a 3 player shootout, if still tied after 3 players have shot, then the captain may choose any player, as often as he wishes until the tie is broken.

Tie Break Formats for Round Robin Standings

If 2 or more teams are tied after each team has played it’s Round Robin Games, the following criteria will be used to determine which teams advance.

Goals Difference: The difference between goals scored and goal conceded during the round robin
Head-to-Head: If teams are still tied after the goal difference, then how teams fared against one another in round robin competition will determine who advances.
Total Goal Scored: If the head-to-head record is still tied, the total number of goals scored by each team during the round robin comes into play.
Penalties: Team with least number of minor penalties will advance
